The Crepery Cafe in Rolling Hills Estates blends a relaxed café vibe with the heartiness of an all-day American and French-inspired breakfast and brunch spot. Sitting just off Silver Spur Road, it’s a comfortable place to settle in for a morning coffee or a casual weekend brunch after a nearby stroll. The café occupies a modest space with both indoor and patio seating, making it ideal for those who want to enjoy fresh California air or a quieter, cozy table inside.

Locals and visitors alike appreciate this spot for its mix of crepes that lean on classic French flavors alongside familiar American breakfast staples. While crepes like the La Citron and Mixed Berry varieties stand out for those in the mood for something light and sweet, the menu also offers savory items such as croissant sandwiches and a well-rounded breakfast combo. Coffee here clearly draws its share of fans—the cappuccinos and flavored lattes come with a noted smoothness that fits the laid-back California mornings well.

One noticeable feature from regulars is how The Crepery serves a diverse crowd: a group of friends can find plenty to share, solo visitors enjoy peaceful solitude, and small families appreciate the approachable, unhurried pace. It’s not a loud or busy spot, which makes it particularly suited for weekday mornings or early weekend brunch when you want an unhurried meal without the usual crowds. Staff often come across as friendly and attentive without rushing the experience.

The outdoor patio is a definite perk on sunnier days—perfect for sipping coffee while watching the Peninsula neighborhood quietly go about its morning routine. Whether you’re here for a snack with a mocha, a vegetarian-friendly sandwich, or something more substantial like a frittata or a savory crepe, the atmosphere encourages lingering over conversation or reading the paper.

In summary, The Crepery Cafe feels like a reliable neighborhood spot that balances French-inspired casual dining with the comforts of an American breakfast joint. It’s best suited for those who seek an approachable brunch with quality coffee in a calm setting, particularly around mid-morning to early afternoon when the light filters softly through the patio trees.

The Crepery Cafe in Rolling Hills, California, is a better than average local cafe. Our group of 7 women went (without a reservation) to the Crepery Cafe after realizing it was very close to the South Coast Botanical Gardens. The staff seated us within 15 minutes of arrival. The lattes and coffee drinks were very good. The food was made without any complaints and all seemed very satisfied with their brunch choices. The only disappointment was they were out of pancakes. We were able to have the checks split (three for our table). All in all this was a great place for our group to meet and enjoy a meal. Thank you to the staff for getting our meals and drinks 100% correct!

Great little spot up in the Peninsula Center. Staff were friendly and the crepes were really good. We had a great day and sat out on the patio. There is indoor seating also...a little small, but a very nice cafe.Cafe. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. We will definitely be back.

The beef filet mignon with peppercorn was absolutely amazing. Worth the price. Great wine selection. Service was exceptional. Not a fan of crepes but there is so much more on the menu to try. Highly recommend.

The Crepery Cafe is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor dining. We parked on the street directly in front of the restaurant. There were tables available inside, but it was a beautiful day so we sat on the patio. We ordered the Caramel Mocha, Breakfast Crepe, Morning Omelet, and Breakfast Combo. The Breakfast Crepe was my favorite. The crepe is a little bit sweet with ham and cheese on the inside. The Caramel Mocha was delicious. I’ll definitely go back to try more items on the menu.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Nice to be in umbrella provided shade. We just missed a huge indoor group but they were prepared to seat us quickly. Good food. A little unusual to have salad included & dry bread but fast service who did not hover over nor interrupt leisurely patrons.
